Social Story - Back to school after Covid-19

I will be honest, it has been a little while since I have written a social story. I had seen a few people asking for one about going back to school so I thought I would give it a go. I have left lots of blank spots for you to fill in. The more specific you can be the better. You know your students/children best :)

As kindergartens and schools go back we need to think about our students who don't like change and might need extra scaffolding to smoothly transition back to the face to face setting. You know your students/children best! I have created this Social Story as a basic starting point for teachers or parents to use. There are three copies available. The free 17 page copy which you will can add details with using any PDF reader, a 2 page PDF copy or the Canva version (this will cost $3 with half donated to Ardoch). All the features should work on the Canva version with just a free account that you can get for free. If you have any questions about how to use it I am happy to make a video.

I have made this download available only via our blog as I think it is so important that these are individualised for your setting and students/children. Saying this I hope I have helped by creating a basic outline for you.
